Realizing the huge demand for affordable housing and the need for office space in Vail, we figured why not try to put this space right where it is needed most . . . right in the heart of the Village. Our idea is to combine affordable condos, office space and groundfloor retail atop an underground parking garage just outside the existing Village parking structure.
This project is in its infancy, and we have recently taken the first steps to get a project of this scale entitled and convince the town that Triumph Development is the right sponsor for this project. While the Town Council is yet to be convinced, we still love the idea. Where better to put much needed housing for permanent town residents than the center of town. Where better to put space for offices and retail than unused land next to public parking. This project could be a huge catalyst for positive growth in the village.

If we all agree that a large redevelopment of the Lionshead Parking Structure makes sense, why not a similar idea on a scale more appropriate for Vail Village?
