With a long time family connection to the Vail Valley, this client had been looking for a solid value-add investment in one of Vail’s premier neighborhoods. Working seamlessly with Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty, Triumph Custom Homes was able to understand the client’s requirements, vision and budget to complete the acquisition, demolition and renovation of the condo as well as demonstrate the value created by the project.
Overcoming language barriers and working with a design team that spans two countries and multiple time zones Triumph Custom Homes has worked diligently to ensure that the owner’s modern vision for their new home will be delivered by their first planned vacation of the 2013/2014 ski season.

After months searching for an existing home that accomplished the family’s goals of proximity to children’s sporting activities and school, and easy access to town, Triumph Custom Homes helped find and secure an off-market purchase of one of the most ideal lots on the Vail Golf Course.
Located on the 4th fairway the new 10,000+ square foot home will enjoy breathtaking views both up and down the Vail Valley including the most prominent peaks in the Gore Range. The custom home will include both formal entertaining areas and intimate family spaces. It will also include an indoor sport court and gym, multiple outdoor living spaces with fireplaces, a swimming pool and a hot tub, a catering kitchen and a dramatic home office.
From the outset of the process which began in April 2013 the client sought a fast track design and construction process with the goal of moving into the home December 1, 2014. Triumph Custom Homes led the diligence process to ensure the lot would meet all the client’s demands. Through the course of the due diligence it was discovered that there were conflicting plats on the property. Triumph coordinated with the title company, the town and the client’s attorney to close on time and ensure all desired development rights were secured.
The project is currently under Design Review and is anticipated to be under construction this fall. Once completed it will be one of the premier homes in the Vail Valley.
Moms Cabin by Triumph Custom Homes is located north of Red Feathers at Crystal Lakes Community in Northern Colorado. This 3,600 square-foot private residence is currently on the boards for design. This home will be complete with design this fall and scheduled for construction. Home will be occupied by fall of 2013.
Triumph Custom Homes is well underway on the programming and schematic site design study phases for a close client on a custom home in Spraddle Creek. A design Architect selection process is in process to create this European castle feel with 2014 technologies. The schematic and design development phases will be completed in early 2013.
Construction will begin in late summer of 2013, home to be completed in fall of 2014.
